This assay office closed in 1883. Hallmarks are deep and clear. Its weight is a hefty 141 grams (6.66 troy ounces) and this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. It is in terrific condition. A very nice English antique lot. Pattern is Fiddle. Stem is incredibly thick and strong. Highly rare and sought after. Engraved with contemporary initial B and always has been. Please excuse any reflection in the images,this sometimes happens when using a camera tent outside in daylight.
